We just got electricity!

Now we feel like we can conquer the world!  Imagine – cooking, refrigerating (imaginary) food, showering in at night in something other than candlelight.
We’ve survived our first hurricane.

Hurricane Ike

We’re fine, if still missing our lifeline to the power grid.  Water service returned is almost normal as of today.  I’m posting updates over at tworandalls.com.

Saturday Night Ike Update

Ike stuck with us until about noon today. A walk through the neighborhood revealed lots of tree damage (shredded leaves, broken limbs, and uprooted trees), but little structural damage.
